Many areas of Atlantic Canada are experiencing power outages due to high winds and rain.

 

After a power outage, it may take longer than normal for your television set top box to connect and for you to get sound and picture on your TV. The on-screen TV guide information may also take a few minutes to populate.

 

If you are a FibreOP customer and are currently experiencing warning beeps from the back up battery installed at the location your Fibre comes into the home; there is a blue coloured Alarm Silence button on the front that you can press to turn off this beeping.

 

If you are a Bell Aliant Next Gen Home Security customer and the keypad is beeping to notify you of a low battery, you may press the * key on the keypad. This will stop the beeping, you may see "press > to bypass a zone" on the screen, this can be ignored.
